When Denise Lee wanted to perform more cabaret but found fewer and fewer places to do so, she didn’t sit on her hands. She started her own cabaret arts production company, started an advocacy network, wrote new shows for herself, booked shows for other artists, and test drove different venues to pave the way for other artists like her. And she says she’s only just getting started.
